Deb’s Story

Please I can introduce everyone to Deb Beckesh…

Deb reached out to me on Instagram and is bravely sharing her story with us all. I have so much respect for those who wish to share their stories to help others. We cannot wave a magic wand and in hope everything will go away (We wish we could). However, we are here to listen and help support the best we can…

Here is Deb’s Story…

I guess the best place to begin is at the beginning. I was a working mom in a fast paced pediatric dental office. It was a very high-stress job. My third child had just started kindergarten. I was married and my husband was verbally and emotionally abusive. I always felt that nothing I ever did was good enough for him. I also felt that way at work.

I pushed myself extremely hard. I became involved in the Boy Scouts. At first I became a den mother, then a den leader, then a treasurer and finally I became the troop leader. This all happened within a matter of months. I also, became very sick with bronchitis and asthma that the doctors couldn’t seem to cure. I was on every antibiotic that I have ever heard of. Nothing worked. I saw a specialist for my asthma and I saw an ENT but no one could get to the bottom of why I was not getting better.
