A True Story By Kimber
First I’d like to say that I joined Twitter to help Dog and Beth Chapman regain the series “The Bounty Hunter”. It touched my heart the way they prayed for people and how hard they worked to help them out. Dogs unconditional love for his wife Beth gave me the hope of finding a loving man of my own. The whole first year I tweeted and retweeted as part of the “Dogpound”. We hounded AEN to restart the series, to no avail. Then out of the blue (almost two years) WGNA picked them up and started a whole new series. #Dogs Most Wanted They are filming now! Yeah! Anyway the “Dogpound” led me to some pretty amazing people.
When I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. I began to follow more people with similar ailments, as well as, information organizations. I figured that Tweeting would keep me busy while I was having Chemo and help keep my mind off of having Cancer. I have also been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Lyme’s Disease, IBS, Osteo Arthritis, Degenerative Spine, Asthma, Depression etc…
I am happy to Announce that I am a Cancer Survivor !! Happy Dance !!
This is when I started following a few more of my favorite celebrities. I retweeted a few of their tweets and before long Mr Vin Diesel contacted me! He thanked me for being a number one fan and wanted to know what my favorite Vin Diesel movies were. The very next day Ozzy Osbourne contacted me saying he loved to personally contact his fans, especially his number one fans. I soon realized that I wasn’t actually talking to these celebrities. I did some research and questioned a few “Dogpound” members and learned how to tell the real celebrities on Twitter. A blue scalloped circle with a check mark in the middle is placed beside their name. The majority use this security symbols. These celebrities will not ask you for Money, I Tunes Cards, Amazon Cards or anything of the sort. They are rich and can use a credit card if they need such things. I will give more information on Celebrity Scammers in the scams and method section soon to be part of this page.
